POSITION:

High School Math Teacher

 

RESPONSIBLE TO:

Superintendent and Building Principal

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Creating a flexible high school math program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establishing effective rapport with pupils; motivating pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for preparation for college, careers and citizenship, in accordance with each pupil’s ability; and establishing good relationships with parents and other staff members.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and valid teaching certification.

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Regular attendance following a designated work schedule; must be able to work extended hours and additional days/evenings as required by position responsibilities; must be able to attend and participate in meetings and conferences scheduled.

The beginning of the 2024-2025 school year
