POSITION:
High School Certified Teacher/On Campus Detention
RESPONSIBLE TO:
Superintendent and Building Principal
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Supervises students that have been sent to On-Campus detention, due to violations of Bristow Public Schools student code of conduct; Responsible for disciplining students, helping the students with their school work and counseling the students in appropriate behavior for the eventual reintegration back into the classroom and to serve him/her in real-life situations; Be liaison for student’s work from faculty; Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and valid teaching certification. Classroom teaching and discipline experience required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Regular attendance following a designated work schedule; must be able to work extended hours and additional days/evenings as required by position responsibilities; must be able to attend and participate in meetings and conferences scheduled.

Beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.
