POSITION:                            High School Library Media Specialist

RESPONSIBLE TO:                Superintendent and Building Principal

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:            Creating a flexible class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establishing effective rapport with pupils; motivating pupils to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for preparation for college, careers, and citizenship, in accordance with each pupil’s ability; establishing good relationships with parents and with other staff members; other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL                     Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and valid
